MILAN FASHION WEEK A/W 2011 - MISSONI

I am always very curious about what Missoni will do with its signature prints! This time, by seeing the Missoni’s proposals for next autumn / winter, I couldn’t stop thinking in the latest Rodarte’s collection Fall 2011 (HERE) submitted recently in New York. In both collections the long and fluid silhouette statement, the dramatic princess coats and even the soft pastel palette are so coincident! And both broke with the incandescent glow of bright colors that were repeated throughout fashion weeks. I think that this Missoni’s collection was the stronger and most beautiful of the late years.

Fico sempre bastante curiosa para saber o que é que a Missoni vai fazer de novo com os padrões que são a sua assinatura! Desta vez, ao ver as propostas da Missoni para o próximo Outono/Inverno, não posso deixar de pensar na mais recente colecção Outono 2011 da Rodarte (AQUI) apresentada, recentemente, em Nova Iorque. Em ambas as colecções a silhueta longa e fluida, os dramáticos casacos de princesa até aos pés e até a paleta de suaves cores pastel são coincidentes. E ambas rompem com o brilho incandescente das cores fortes que tanto se repetiram ao longo destas semanas da moda. Adorei!
