The mysticism of Morocco and its explosion of colors, smells and tastes was the great inspiration for the Cia.Maritima's collection of Spring / Summer 2011 showed today at Lisbon Fashion Week. The room in the beautiful Ribeira Market was full. In the front row the Portuguese top model Diana Pereira with her husband, the race runner Tiago Monteiro and their little daughter monopolized the attention of photographers and press.
O misticismo cultural de Marrocos e a sua explosão de cores, cheiros e sabores foi a inspiração para a colecção de Primavera/Verão 2011 da Cia. Maritima que hoje à noite desfilou na Modalisboa. A sala do lindissimo Mercado da Ribeira estava à pinha para o dia 2 dos desfiles. Mas as atenções voltavam-se para a "front row" onde a modelo Diana Pereira e o seu marido, corredor de automóveis, Tiago Monteiro, iniciavam a sua pequena filha para o mundo da moda.

I loved the denim pieces with printed tops, the maxi dresses, the shirt-dresses and the tunics plenty of vintage vibes which reminds me Joni Mitchell and the girls of Laurel Canyon in late-sixties.
Adorei as peças em denim misturadas com tops de estampagem fresca, os maxi vestidos, os vestidos camiseiro e as túnicas cheias de vibrações vintage a lembrarem Joni Mitchell e as raparigas de Laurel Canyon de finais dos anos 60.
