"Here Comes the Sun" is the motto for the Pedro Pedro’s new collection showed in the 2nd day of Modalisboa Pulse. The notes about the collection said that the romanticism and modernity were the headlines, based on the aesthetics of the 70s and 80s. I find inspiration in this time on the geometric prints, in folk vibes and hand crafted as hyper-dated trends, as well as in long and flowing silhouettes that brings us to a fashion nonchalance. But, the more rigid and structured pieces also took place in this collection, offering an interesting contrast with the thick handcrafted tricots in denim and silk.

Dizem as notas sobre a colecção que são o romantismo e a modernidade as headlines orientadoras, fundadas na estética dos anos 70 e 80. Encontramos inspiração de época nos padrões geométricos, no folk e nos bordados manuais como tendências hiper-datadas, assim como nas silhuetas longas e fluidas que nos remetem para uma moda nonchalance. Mas, as peças mais rígidas e estruturadas também têm lugar nesta colecção, oferecendo um contraste interessante com os tricots grossos artesanais em denim e sedas.
