MODALISBOA PULSE: OS BURGUESES SS 2013

The summary of the Os Burgueses' Spring / Summer 2013 collection  begins with a fantastic quote: "D. Sebastião I is Pop culture "! We love the irreverence of Eleuterio and Mia, the creative duo behind one of the coolest Portuguese brands, and we're always waiting with growing anxiety for the next show. To stir things up a bit at a time you want more than ever a Savior for Portugal emerging from the fog to forgive us for all bank loans, Os Burgueses took on this old urban myth of  the young king mudered in combat named "The Desired" and made him a pop icon for fashion inspiration. The duo of designers who leaded the brand got in D. Sebastião's armor, the industrial futurism and images of Kim Holtermand and translated them into wearable clothes right into the universe of a City Opera.

...And the darkness became POP!The fluoride in total look or in contrasting details illuminating the nudes and neutrals were a real shot of energy in the catwalk, when Friday's tiredness already caught me off guard.
