INSPIRATION: MISFITS




One of my favourite movies of all time is The Misfits (1961). The Misfits is a 1961 American drama film with a screenplay by Arthur Miller which was directed by John Huston. It stars Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, Montgomery Clift, Thelma Ritter, and Eli Wallach. The Misfits was the final film appearance for both Gable and Monroe and it hadn't a commercial success at the time. This editorial referred me to the old film of my teenager's turbulence.

One of my favourite scenes from The Misfits was that when Marilyn Monroe appeared as a straight dramatic actress rather than the comedic blonde roles she had tried desperatly to shed, trying to help a wild gorgeous horse that had to be tamed by the cowboys. See it below:
