The best show of Day one - the duo Alves/Gonçalves rocks! I loved all the looks with retro-inspiration mixed with a very contemporary edge in the details made of clear vinyl. Finally a colour pallet that made me thrill the eye's view. First were the nude looks but suddenly the blue, the shock pink and flower prints appeared. A note for the romantic edge that crossed all the collection certainly chosen by the modern stylish woman. The loose silhouette are fabulous and also my favourite even though the hourglass silhouette dominate the collection. Then there was the trench coats over vaporous dresses (the Lolita baby-doll in rose was candy), the ruffles which gave more romantic vibes and the classic white straight dress with a big collar.
The white boots are something... and too much trendy as we saw in many international shows. The laser cuts in a kind of manufactured lace gave to the final dresses a amazing finesse touch. The quality of the fabrics and cuts, the innovation of the details mixed with plastic in belts, collars and in the finish of the piece made this collection to a high level and perhaps the best collection of Alves/Gonçalves in many years.
O melhor desfile do Dia Um estava reservado para a dupla Alves/Gonçalves. Adorei cada um dos looks com uma retro-inspiração aguda, mas, misturado com vibrações contemporâneas evidentes (e talvez a mais contemporânea e trendy das colecções da dupla). Para isso muito contribuiram os detalhes em plástico vinil a rematar as peças, em cintos e golas. Mas a nota romantica atravessa toda a colecção, certamente, para a mulher contemporanea e elegante que não dispensa a sua feminilidade. As silhuetas largas e longas foram sem dúvida as minhas favoritas, apesar de predominar a figura ampulheta em vestidos de corte recto e ajustados à figura feminina e em saias pencil com tops leves e transparentes. As trench coats também estiveram presentes usados sobre vestidos de tapete vermelho, longos e vaporosos com detalhes franzidos como o vestido baby-doll em rosa estilo Lolita (ainda as vibrações romanticas mas muito sedutor). O meu destaque vai para o vestido branco de corte clássico desconstruido com uma gola enorme.
Os botins brancos dão o toque trendy da estação (por demais vistos nos desfiles internacionais) que demostram que Alves/Gonçalves estão a par das tendências internacionais (eles dirão certamente que foi coincidência, ok...) e são o elemento de ligação entre todos os looks. Uma nota final para os vestidos com recortes a laser numa espécie de renda manufacturada de uma enorme beleza. ESta colecção elevou o nivel deste primeiro dia da Modalisboa/Transfusion e é bem possível que tenha sido a melhor colecção da dupla Alves/Gonçalves desde há muito tempo.
