The Alexandra Moura's collection for the next Winter played with ambiguous and seemingly
contradictory concepts: The strength and innocence, sweetness and warlike symbols,
childhood and the wisdom of ancient civilizations. The styling back to American
Indians, with very long hair and warriors paintings in the face. The collection
is based on old fur with which the ancestors made their covers, including one dressed all in fur that brings us to how the primitive
Indian women dressed. Alexandra Moura enjoys to play with history and ancient
civilizations to the central theme of her work always dominated by a very particular
poetics of the transcendental. The collection are made of very relaxed pieces and tailoring jackets with fur details.
A colecção de Alexandra Moura para a próxima estação fria brinca com conceitos aparentemente contraditórios e ambiguos: A força e a inocência, a doçura e a simbologia guerreira, a infância e a sabedoria de civilizações antigas. O styling remonta aos indios norte-americanos, com cabelos longuissimos e pinturas guerreiras na cara. A colecção é baseada nas peles com que os ancestrais se cobriam e que percorrem quase todos os looks, inclusive um vestido todo em pêlo que nos remete para a forma como as indias primitivas se vestiam. Alexandra Moura gosta de brincar com a história e as civilizações antigas para tema inspirador do seu trabalho sempre dominado por uma poética muito particular do transcendental. A colecção é constituida por peças descontraidas e casuais e casacos de alfaiataria com detalhes de pêlo.
