Filipe Faísca launched today the Lisbon Fashion Week with a collection inspired by the Desert and its tough and unfriendly environment which calls for evasion. The Portuguese designer brought us images of urban sophistication with flowing silhouettes in a very feminine and eternal style. Filipe Faísca's signature was sobriety and simplicity of forms and materials which results in a classical collection but with a contemporary reinterpretation.

Filipe Faísca inaugurou hoje a Semana da Moda de Lisboa com uma colecção inspirada no Deserto e no seu ambiente rude que chama à evasão e à desconexão. O criador português trouxe-nos imagens de urbana sofisticação com silhuetas fluídas remetendo ao eterno estilo feminino. O trabalho de Filipe Faísca espelha sobriedade e simplicidade de formas e materiais cujo resultado é uma colecção clássica mas com uma visão comtemporânea.    

The color palette this spring / summer 2011 collection is varied and covers the black and white, nude, green khaki and mint, the seductive strawberry red, carmine red and scarlet and also the trendy metallic shades.

A paleta de cores desta colecção Primavera Verão 2011 é variada e percorre o preto e branco, os "nude", o verde caqui e verde menta, os sedutores  vermelho morango, vermelho carmim e vermelho escarlate e os trendy tons metálicos

I really love the grafic patterns, a very current trend, in black and white which is eternal..

Gostei bastante dos padrões gráficos - uma tendência muito actual - em branco e preto, uma elegância eterna! 

A fashion show which gave us tranquility as the Desert that inspired the collection.

Um desfile que nos trouxe a tranquilidade do deserto que isnpirou a colecção.
