MY CHOICE OF SPRING/SUMMER 2014 TRENDS

With this miserable cold weather and never stopped rain, it isn't so please to think about cool clothes while we get wrapped up in the larger and hotter coat from our wardrobe. But at the sales' time is essential to look at the up coming trends to get good investment for the next seasons.

Com este tempo miserável de frio e chuva não é que nos apeteça muito pensar em roupa fresca enquanto nos enrolamos no maior e mais quente sobretudo do nosso guarda-roupa. Mas, na época de saldos é indispensável olhar para as tendências que aí vêm para conseguirmos bons investimentos para usarmos na próxima estação.

These are the up coming trends that I picked up as my fave for 2014: 

Entre outras, eis as tendências para a estação quente de 2014 que seleccionei:

1 - Wordplay: The statement words and slogans' trend will goes on in 2014, especially in sweatshirts that leave their sport vibes and carded cotton to present in rich materials such as lace in a mix of opposite opaque/ transparencies. A chic way to show irreverence. (look at Alexander Wang, Christopher Kane, Kenzo ...)

1 - WORDPLAY: A tendência das frases feitas e slogans continuará em 2014, sobretudo em sweatshirts que deixam de vez o seu "ar" desportivo do algodão cardado e se apresentam em materias nobres como as rendas num mix de opostos opaco/transparências. Uma forma chic de irreverência. ( Ver Alexander Wang, Christopher Kane, Kenzo... )






2 - UNBUTTONED: This is a zero cost trend, and very sexy too. Let unbuttoned the shirt or top from underneath to up so much the dress code allowed, depending on location, time of the day and agenda. Cool and hot at the same time, and an easy way to go from day to night look. 

2 -  UNBUTTONED: Esta é uma tendência a custo zero e muito sexy. Deixe a camisa ou top desabotoado debaixo para cima e até onde o dress code o permitir, dependendo do local, hora e agenda. Ao mesmo tempo cool e sensual, eis uma maneira fácil de mudar um visual diurno para uma saida à noite.






3 - COWGIRL MASHUP: An urban and sophisticated cowgirl inspired by simply mixing accessories typical of the American West, but this time in a totally unexpected way for the rest of the look. (Donna Karan, Rodarte, Alexis Mabille and Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu adorned jeans or mixing fringes and lots of suede).

3 - COWGIRL MASHUP: Uma cowgirl urbana e sofisticada, bastando para isso misturar acessórios tipicos do Oeste americano ao visual, mas, desta vez de uma forma totalmente inesperada com o restante look. (Donna Karan, Rodarte, Alexis Mabille e Louis Vuitton e Miu Miu com os jeans adornados, franjas e camurça).






4 - Fringing: From casual wear to party clothes fringes are all over Spring 2014 looks in belts, especially bags and boots turned out in force to give movement and sensuality to the most basic look and adding the cool factor. So, if you see a piece or accessory with fringes at sales you must know taht is a guaranteed investment.

4 - FRINGING: Desde a roupa casual à roupa de festa, em cintos, (sobretudo) malas e botas as franjas voltaram em força para dar movimento e sensualidade, acrescentado o factor cool a qualquer look mais básico. Assim, se vires nos saldos uma peça ou acessório com franjas é um investimento garantido.





5 - LE SMOKING: It is not about wearing a full tuxedo, but tuxedo inspired pieces, such as the tuxedo blazers but this time with vibrant colors (Pucci) or floral. Heavy fabrics will be quitted (wool or velvet) to bet on fresh materials like silk with contrasting collars.


5 - LE SMOKING: Não se trata propriamente de usar um smoking completo, mas, de peças inspiradas no smoking, como é o caso de blazers de smoking com cores vibrantes ( Pucci) ou com motivos florais. Abandonam-se, assim, os tecidos pesados como a lã ou o veludo em aposta-se em materiais nobres frescos como a seda, inclusivé, com golas contrastantes.
