Acabada ( ou quase) a estação oficial dos saldos, apesar do frio, começa a apetecer planear o guarda-roupa de primavera. É sempre assim para os fashionistas, não há tempo de descanso para se andar sempre em cima das tendências. Se é certo que ao andarmos nos saldos já deu para espreitar os previews das colecções, um resumo das principais tendências internacionais reclamadas pelos designers de sempre vem sempre a calhar. Por isso aqui fica um apanhado meio apressado do que vamos ver daqui a um par de meses nas ruas... por acaso estou sempre muito curiosa para ver como é que os fashionistas adaptam ( ou não) as tendencias dos desfiles ao dia-a-dia.

I think this is one of those hard trends not easy to follow that seems appropriated only for very slender bodies. The trend started with the ruffles applied to the hips (the old peplum) and now all the body is envolved in them. Pay attention to big volumes that are a disaster when they can become you bigger than you are, mainly in the wrong places that are already big enough.
Acho que esta é daquelas tendências muito dificeis de usar e só para corpos Danone e muito esguios. Tudo começou com os folhos aplicados às ancas ( o velhinho peplum) e agora subiram e desceram para todas as partes do corpo. Atenção aos volumes que são um desastre quando sublinham mais do que o devido.

2 - THE POWER SUIT
O FATO (MASCULINO) COMPLETO
I can not think of anything sexier than a woman wearing a male cut tailoring suit but with very sophisticated acessories, hair and make-up. Since YSL created the female tuxedo to wear instead of cocktail dresses, the power suit was never out of fashion. However, there are times when it appears much more powerful as it is the case of the next spring, but with an upgrade of modernity - joins a bra top as did Victoria Beckham and Jonathan Saunders and played with the proportions as in Stella McCartney and Balmain ... Sure the suit will be the best investment piece for the next months to come and further.
Não consigo pensar em nada mais sexy do que uma mulher vestida com um fato de corte masculino mas com acessórios e make-up muito sofisticados. Já o dizia YSL e desde aí o fato completo usado em substituição do vestido de cocktail, nunca mais saiu de moda. Todavia, há épocas em que ele surge muito mais poderoso como é o caso da próxima primavera, mas, com um upgrade de modernidade - junta-se um bra top que é como quem diz um top soutien como o fez Victoria Beckham ou Jonathan Saunders e joga-se com as proporções como em Stella McCartney ou Balmain... Uma peça investimento sem sombra de dúvida.

3 - WEST MEETS EAST OR ASIAN FOLKS/ Folk asiático
Western culture has always a crush for oriental aesthetic symbols, so this trend has repeated itself throughout the history of fashion. But for the next spring the Asian influences (or what the West recognizes as key symbols of the Asian garments with kimono at No. 1) were reinterpreted beautifully by Prada, Dries Van Noten, Etro, Hermes, or Haider Ackemann among many others.
A cultura ocidental sempre teve um fascinio pelos simbolos e estética orientais pelo que esta tendência vem repetindo-se ao longo da história da moda. Mas, para a próxima primavera as influências asiáticas ( ou aquilo que o ocidente reconhece como principais simbolos da indumentária oriental com o quimono em 1º lugar) foram reinterpretadas magnificamente por Prada, Dries Van Noten, Etro, Hermés, ou Haider Ackemann entre muitos outros.

4 - BACK TO BASICS IN BLACK AND WHITE
Regresso Aos Básicos a Preto-e-Branco
Fashion is based on what's happenning now and it is touched by the spirit of the times as any other creative field. Fashion can be a form of rebellion or lost in translation but in the end of the day it's always what people are experiencing in a given moment that inspired the fashion world. The economic downturn that has dominated the beginning of the XXI century gave to fashion two distinct streams: The Over-the-top embellishment: exaggeration in gaudy XXL jewelry and major accessories (The more is more) and its opposite, ie formal minimalism with less embellishment (the less is more). For this spring we will assist to the basics return after the excessive glare, computer prints and high-tech textures. In many collections we can find a resurgence of the black-an-white classic contrast, especially in stripes and optical effects as seen at Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors.
A moda tem por base a sua época e é tocada pelo espirito dos tempos como nenhuma outra área criativa. A moda pode ser uma forma de rebeldia ou traduzir aquilo que se vive num determinado momento. A contracção económica que tem dominado o inicio do século XXI teve na moda duas correntes distintas: O Over-the-top embellishment, ou seja, o exagero em acessórios e jóias vistosas XXL ( O mais é mais) e o seu oposto, ou seja, o minimalismo formal e sem grandes embelezamentos ( O menos é mais). Para esta primavera há um regresso aos básicos, depois dos brilhos excessivos e padrões electricizantes, e um ressurgimento do contraste básico do preto-e-branco, sobretudo em riscas e efeitos ópticos como vimos em Marc Jacobs e Michael Kors.

6 - LIGHT SHEER MATERIALS IN VEILED LOOKS
Materiais Leves em Jogos de Transparencias
This is another very hard trend to adapt of the dairy looks without falling into vulgarity (such as lace in winter). The trick is to use moderation, play with opaque fabrics in strategic locations and overlaps (as transparent pockets in shirts and shadow liners) and mainly it requires the use of very good quality sheer materials
because in this field cheap fabrics don't work at all. My suggestion is: Avoid fast fashion items in these veiled looks.
Esta é outra tendência muito dificil de usar e adaptar aos looks do dia-a-dia sem cair na vulgaridade ( tal como as rendas no inverno). O truque é usar moderação, jogar com os materiais opacos nos sítios estratégicos e sobreposições ( como bolsos nas camisas transparentes e vestidos sombra como forros) e, principalmente, usar tecidos de muito boa qualidade porque aqui o barato nota-se e muito.
