PARIS FASHION WEEK: FÁTIMA LOPES SS 2013

 'Our' Fatima ( the Lopes not the Other) just opened the Paris Fashion Week as usual, and as usual with the support of Portugal Fashion. This time, for her Spring/Summer 2013 collection, the Portuguese designer were inspired by the garments of the artistic skaters ( in my opinion of course), though she vehemently affirmed with certainty that she was inspired by the nature of her homeland, the Madeira island. Too much skin and so little fabric is the striking style of Fatima Lopes (as you all know) which is according to the present Europeen crisis, besides Fátima doesn't like letting the blatant seduction by alien hands (as you all know). So this is more an expected ( with little surprises here and there) collection in the Lopes' creative universe. For me the merit of Fatima Lopes resides entirely on her ability to recreate the same dress year after year, from the beginning of her long career. In my opinion the models should have used skates in white instead of Christmas decorative golden 'balls' as clutches, but this may be the effect of the few photos I found on the net from the fashion show, which as you know are not in 3D. You can enjoy more photos here at GETTY's.

A 'nossa' Fátima (a Lopes não a Outra) lá abriu a Paris Fashion Week como de costume, e como habitual com o apoio do Portugal Fashion. Desta vez a designer Portuguesa inspirou-se nos fatos das patinadoras artisticas para criar a sua colecção Primavera/Verão 2013 ( na minha opinião é claro, e se repetirem isto quero créditos!) , embora ela afirme com veemente certeza que se inspirou na natureza da sua terra natal, a ilha da Madeira. Muita pele e pouco tecido é o estilo marcante da Fátima Lopes como todos já sabem, agora muito consentaneo com a actual crise que assola a Europa. Para além disso é sabido que a Fátima Lopes não deixa a descarada sedução por mãos alheias, pelo que esta é mais uma colecção expectável no seu universo criativo. Para mim o mérito da Fátima Lopes reside totalmente na sua capacidade para inventar o mesmo vestido anos após ano, desde o inicio da sua já longa carreira. Só acho que as modelos deviam ter usado uns patins brancos no desfile em vez das doiradas 'bolas' decorativas de Natal a fazer de clutches, mas, isso pode ser defeito das poucas fotos do desfile que encontrei na net que como se sabe não são a 3D.
