PARIS FASHION WEEK - LUIS BUCHINHO FALL/WINTER 2012-13

Yesterday, Feb. 29, Luis Buchinho showed his Fall/Winter 2012-13 collection at Paris Fashion Week, in the beautiful room at Cercle National des Armees; I loved every single piece once again! Luis Buchinho creations are all about sophistication with a strong sportswear inspiration mixed with tailoring elements. Buchinho knows better than anyone how to elongate the female silhouette with pieces that follow the body lines in a natural way. My favorite item is the return of the long length expressed through amazing long dresses. The colour pallette is a safety bet with the black, dark blue and nude played in fantastic geometric forms. The rich textures mixed in one piece give a tridimensional effect very unique and elegant to dresses, shirts, skirts and tops. A sexy chic collection with a not obvious glamour thanks to the rich details. I also highlight the excellent execution of the garments, wearable and comfortable, the main characteristics of Luis Buchinho's work which were repeated collection after collection.   

Ontem, 29 de Fevereiro, Luis Buchinho apresentou as suas propostas para o próximo Outono/Inverno 2012-13, na magnifica sala de Cercle National des Armees e eu adorei cada uma das peças. As criações de Luis Buchinho são sempre dominadas pela sofisticação, com inspirações no sportswear e no trabalho de alfaiate, uma mistura que é já a imagem de marca do criador português e um dos meus favoritos. ADOREI os vestidos longos que percorrem a linha do corpo naturalmente como de dele fizessem parte. Outra das marcas distintivas de Luis Buchinho é a forma da silhueta feminina, favorecida, alongada e definida sem esforço, através de peças numa pallette segura em preto, azul escuro e nude com detalhes geométricos e mistura de texturas que dão um efeito tridimensional único à roupa. Como não gostar de roupa que nos favorece a figura, ao mesmo tempo confortável, elegante e fácil de usar, uma trilogia que é rara estar presente numa só peça. Um glamour aparentemente despojado e transfigurado no sexy-chic muito ao estilo da mulher francesa que rejeita tudo o que é demasiado óbvio.
