INSPIRATION: CLEAN AND SIMPLE IS THE NEW SOPHISTICATION:

The white in total look is a big trend in current fashion, but as the absolute black, the white on white is never out of fashion. Clean shapes and natural faces seems so right with the white look, and it is a must for next spring in parallel to brocades, floral prints and exaggerated proportions. What I love the most in next spring trends, and as we could see - in the recent fashion weeks - next fall's trends too, is the simple silhouettes and a neutral palette which will be a powerful statement. Fresh faces, natural shiny hair and ethereal almost transparent features keep the look simple when almost the world seems to be complex and under so many social and financial problems. The world gets complex and fashion kept clean and simple. I like that! 


In fact there is something promising in an essential tailoring cut, organic shapes and patterns, that seems to be part of the body and following its dynamic. I think in a time of contradictory sentiments, the minimalism effect, where every unnecessary detail is eliminated, is a positive reaction of the fashion world as a kind of provocation. Clean and simple is the new sophistication. Raw and honest is the new statement in a world where some granted values are questioned all the time. And fashion is never out of its time, fashion predicted it.


O branco puro em look total é uma grande tendência na moda actual, mas , tal como o preto absoluto, o branco no branco nunca está out. Cortes clean e maquilhagem que realce a beleza natural parecem perfeitos para conjugar com o branco depurado, e é sem dúvida a grande tendência desta primavera a par com os brocados, os estampados florais e as proporções exageradas. O que mais gosto nestas novas tendências e que, a avaliar pelas recentes semanas da moda se vão estender pelas estações vindouras, são as silhuetas simples e a palette dos neutros e pastel que já são o grande statement do street style. Fresh faces, cabelo brilhante e natural e figuras etereas quase transparentes mantêm a simplicidade quando o nosso tempo parece cada vez mais complexo, debaixo de inúmeros problemas sociais e económicos. O mundo torna-se mais e mais complexo e a moda mantem-se clean e simples. Adoro isso !

De facto, isto representa algo de promissor e delicioso ao mesmo tempo: um corte essencial de alfaiataria, formas e padrões orgânicos que parece fazer parte do corpo e segui-lo na sua dinâmica. Penso que num tempo de sentimentos contraditórios, o efeito minimalista, onde todos os detalhes desnecessários são eliminados, significa uma reacção positiva do mundo da moda e mesmo uma provocação ao excesso e ao desperdicio que até aqui regeu a nossa vida. Clean e simples é a nova sofisticação; Cru e honesto o novo statement num mundo onde os valores tomados como garantidos são questionados a todo o tempo. Porque a moda nunca está fora do seu tempo, antes prevê o futuro.
