INSPIRATION: LETTERS FROM VERONA (ITALY)

DEAR FRIENDS AND FOLLOWERS

This huge blog break is all about I couldn't get internet in Italy. There are few ciber-cafés and at X-mas holidays everything seemed closed. But here I am from Verona!

YES, Verona is really precious! I went there yesterday and I felt in love with the place! I was to be there only a couple of hours but I spent there all day long because it wasn't only the city itself but all the sophistication around it, and people's looks are so great!

Verona  is one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy, owing to its artistic heritage, several annual fairs, shows, and operas, such as the lyrical season in the Arena, the ancient amphitheatre built by the Romans. But Verona is best know as the Romeo and Juliet's village, I mean the play Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare was based in Verona. Did you see the American romantic drama with Vanessa Redgrave Letters To Juliet?

JULIET's home full of chewing gum with love messages in the stone walls. I never saw nothing like that!

And the next picture is thousands of padlocks with love messages (and not paper letters like in the movie Letters for Juliet.

SEE you TOMORROW at VENICE!

Vejo-vos amanhã em Veneza!
Bye
