"The Bourgeois" launched the Day One of Lisbon Fashion Week that runs until October, 9. I have always lots of curiosity about the Bourgeois' fashion show because it's always a great happening in the Modalisboa's shows. Pedro Eleutério and Mia Lourenço made a total refresh in Portuguese fashion with a theatrical side but very wearable too. " An Opera For The New World - Act 1 - HERITAGE" gave the motto for the Spring/Summer 2012 collection where the classics (Eliza Doolittle, My Fair Lady) talked to Mr. Spock. "Freedom is a state of mind" - said Simone de Beauvoir -" I wish that all the human life will be pure and clear freedom". The soft colour pallet -  White, grey and ashen rose - with leather details dominate the casual pieces in light fabrics as jersey, twill, cambric.

I loved the asymmetric jumpsuit and the long dresses with tail. The vibes remind us the old times and the grandmother's garments with a very modern twist, of course the collection was titled Heritage! Good mix with the old and the new gave us a very fresh moment to start the Lisbon Fashion Week.
