I loved to be surprised! And this Portugal Fashion Fall 2011 edition had some good surprises that I'd like sharing with you. One of this surprises was the Luis Buchinho's menswear collection which I loved every single pieces (I promised I will talk about it soon). But now I'm talking about the second line collection of Ricardo Preto, titled MEAM launched last Sunday in a very cool show. The collection is full of cozy pieces for the fanciest young urban tribe! Very wearable and trendy this is a big step in Ricardo Preto's work in direction of a younger audience which like to choose quality designer as an alternative to fast fashion. In Portugal so far very few were invested in this market range that loves for example Alexander Wang's T or else and I think it's a good bet.

Adoro ser surpreendida! E esta edição do Portugal Fashion veio carregada de boas surpresas que eu adoraria partilhar com vocês. Uma dessas surpresas foi a linha de homem de Luis Buchinho em que eu amei cada uma das peças de malha ( prometo que falarei disso brevemente). Mas, agora quero falar-vos da estreia de uma segunda linha de Ricardo Preto MEAM, em estreia absoluta no passado domingo num desfile muito cool. A colecção está repleta de peças aconchegantes e confortáveis para a tribo urbana mais elegante da cidade. Muito vestivel e trendy este é um grande passo na carreira de Ricardo Preto em direcção a uma audiência mais jovem e descontraída que prefere o design de qualidade como alternativa à fast fashion. Em Portugal tem-se investido muito pouco nesta classe de mercado que adora por exemplo a linha T de Alexander Wang só para citar um exemplo. Boa aposta Ricardo!
