Stefano Pilati revisited all the great codes of Yves Saint Laurent in this Spring Summer 2011 collection: the classic trenchcoat, the eternal smoking in crepe de soir, bowed blouses, paysanne ruffles, long forties lines... all that staff that took part of the YSL's universe decades ago. But Pilati reinvented the classics and gave them a contemporary vision showed skin in a seductive way with sheer and backless dresses and jumpsuits, the always seductive bared skin as a modern trend it was enough to upgrade the iconic pieces of the House.
In my opinion it was one of the best collections of Stefano Pilati and it will remain in our memory or in the wardrobe of the most lucky women for many years.
