INSPIRATION: A SUMMER SUITCASE - JUST FOR SUMMER'S (DE)LIGHT!

With summer coming it's the right time to renew the fancy wardrobe and fill it with fresh and colorful pieces to think about vacations and the beach. I decided to think of a mini-summer wardrobe with basics must-haves, especially light dresses, flat shoes, sunglasses, hats and a jacket ot two for fresh evenings. If I had to select a dozen pieces for taking on holiday certainly I could not miss the bathing suits, sandals, sneakers and Havaianas of course, It's enough of scarpins and suits at the office in the rest of the year. However, the pieces would have to be versatile enough for a special dinner and an unexpected sunset party at the seaside. The secret - to not go full of things that we won't wear - is to mix the pieces together as if they were a puzzle in which changing one of the pieces we can get a different final look with distinct goals. Here is my selection for a holiday's suitcase in a light version.

Com o verão à porta apetece renovar o guarda-roupa e enche-lo de peças frescas e coloridas a pensar em férias e na praia. Resolvi, então, pensar num mini-guarda roupa de verão e nas peças básicas e indispensáveis que não podem faltar, sobretudo vestidos leves, sapatos rasos, óculos, chapéus e um casaco para as noites frescas. Se tivesse que seleccionar uma dúzia de peças para levar nas férias não poderiam certamente faltar os fatos de banho, as sandálias, sapatilhas e havaianas, pois, já bastam os dias de trabalho no escritório para scarpins e roupa formal. Todavia, as peças teriam que ser suficientemente versáteis para um jantar inesperado ou uma festa ao por do sol à beira-mar. O segredo para não irmos carregados de coisas que nunca vestimos é conjugar bem as peças entre si como se elas fossem um puzzle em que mudando uma ou outra peça conseguimos um look final diferente com diferentes objectivos. Eis a minha selecção para uma mala de férias versão light e integral.
