Materiais: jersey, neoprene, algodão com strech, chiffon, veludo encerado, pele.
Cores: Preto, branco, bordeaux, ardósia, e mais preto e preto e preto...
Cortes: Cintura marcada, comprimento maxi ou a tapar o joelho, inspiração anos 50 ( Raf Simons, Jil Sander, Dior), peças com a simplicidade dos anos 80.

Since I lived in Sintra (Sierra) I have had a lot of ideas for editorials in the middle of that lush nature and beautiful places I found there in my bike rides. This editorial for W with Daria through the lens of Ryan McGinley is highly inspiring and the landscape is even remember Sintra and Guincho (Cascais).

Desde que vivo em plena Serra de Sintra que tenho tido imensas ideias para editoriais no meio da exuberante natureza e lindissimos recantos que encontro por lá nos meios passeios de bike. Este editorial para a W com a Daria pelas lentes de Ryan McGinley é altamente inspirador e a paisagem faz mesmo lembrar Sintra e o Guincho.

INSPIRATION: THE GOLD PIGGY BANK AND OTHER LOVES

As all you know this Christmas we are in a serious economic crisis, and I - like many others - do not have those opportunities to give gifts to who I love the most because they are many (thankfully) and I do not see any sense in giving  cheap shit from Chinese stores just we should/must. So there is good news: We shouldn't! 

Instead we can give lots of pampering and special attention that it costs no money and comes straight from the heart. On the other hand, since I do it all year, possibly, my loved people will not feel the difference (ehehehehe!).

Extra-love-and-care aside, I'm really sick of these kind of Christmas' advices on gifts- less-than- € xx that flooding magazines, websites, blogs, and whole universe around.

I got a conclusion: The crisis (thankfully) does not stop us from thinking about mega, giga, tera ... even if we have to act in micro, nano and ... so on. So here's a lot of very personal LIKES in form of special gifts that I would give to the people of my life:


Este Natal estamos em plena crise, e eu tal como muitos outros não tenho possibilidades de dar prendas aqueles que mais gosto porque são muitos (felizmente) e não vejo sentido nenhum em dar merdices da loja dos chineses só porque sim. Em vez disso compenso-os com mimos e atenção que não custa dinheiro e sai directamente do coração. Por outro lado, já faço isso todo o ano pelo que possivelmente nem vão sentir a diferença (ehehehehe!). Dose de extra-mimos à parte, estou realmente farta dos conselhos natalicios sobre prendas em tempo de crise a menos de xx€ que inundam revistas, sites, blogs, e todo o universo em redor. A crise (felizmente) não nos impede de pensar em mega, giga, tera... ainda que tenhamos que agir em micro, nano...e por aí. Por isso aqui vai um lote de LIKES muito pessoais que eu daria à gente da minha vida:

INSPIRATION: DITA DRESSES

Dita Von Teese, the burlesque's modern icon, just launched her debut dress collection. The collection (... of course) is plenty of  feminine retro-inspired dresses - was first launched in Australia earlier this year, but was made available to a British market recently debuted on US website Decades. There are hourglass-fitting LBD with a peekaboo bra and a voluminous trench-coat. Dita has Tilda Swinton and Diane Kruger as fashion heroines, and is impossible ignore her flaunt style now available for all women. Who dares?  

Dita Von Teese, a icónica Sra. Burlesco, lançou a sua primeira colecção de vestidos à sua imagem e semelhança. A colecção, é claro, tem LBD ( little black dresses) impossivelmente femininos, em formato ampulheta e de inspiração retro e um trench-coat de silhueta mais volumosa para contrastar. Apesar de a colecção ter sido disponibilizada na Austrália no inicio deste ano, só recentemente chegou ao mercado britânico, encontrando-se disponivel em exclusivo no website DECADES. Dita tem Tilda Swinton e Diane Kruger como fashion heroines, sendo impossivel ignorar o seu estilo ostensivo e que agora está disponivel para todas as mulheres do planeta. Quem se atreve?

KLAR SS 2013


Recently I discovered LOOKK one of the most well-curated fashion platforms, connecting in a very interesting interactive way the best of today's contemporary fashion brands. The site is well-done with exciting lookbooks and an online shop that connected designers to the customers. You can follow your favorite designers in all kind of styles from urban, conceptual, romantic... to classic and so on. The blog is plenty of amazing fashion images. There is also a Portuguese brand I never heared about that it was a big surprise for me - KLAR. Look at its amazing lookbook HERE. 


Recentemente descobri o website da LOOKK, uma plataforma de moda com uma curadoria excepcional, uma forma bastante interactiva de nos conectarmos com os nossos designers favoritos e com brands que têm causado sururu na moda contemporânea. O site, muito bem construído, permite interactividade entre os designers e os seus clientes, e o leque de estilos é muito alargado, desde o urbano, conceptual, romântico... clássico, etc. O blog tem também imagens fantásticas.

Quero ainda falar de uma marca portuguesa representada no site - a KLAR. Conhecem? Vale a pena ir lá ver o fantástico lookbook que para mim foi uma agradável surpresa AQUI.
