She is my fashion heroine!

INSPIRATION: ROCKABILLY AND TATTOOS

Old symbol of rebellion the sleeve tattoos were something related with muscles and hard guys type. Now mainstream took in tattoos and make them an itch-thing. I’m not a tattoo person ( nor a piercing either) but this fashion editorial caught my eyes because it matched perfectly the hard looking of the sleeve tattoos with the softness and femininity of the rockabilly style. I really loved the styling. And of course the Prada shoes!

Velho simbolo de rebelião, os braços tatuados sempre foi algo relacionado com musculos e tipos duros. Agora o mainstream pegou nas tatuagens e fez delas um item de moda incontornável. Não osu uma pessoa de tatuagens ( e muito menos de piercings) mas este editorial captou-me a atenção porque combina na perfeição o visual hard dos braços tatuados com a leveza do estilo rockabilly, repleto de feminilidade. Adorei mesmo o styling e claro as peças Prada.

INSPIRATION: DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE HELP OF BLOGGER'S WARDROBE

I had already read about BLOGGER'S WARDROBE - a kind of revolution - but only recently I went to the website and red its Manifesto which said: “ Blogger’s Wardrobe is not just any web site, not another way to shop online, and definitely not just an online lookbook (…)”. I used to say that FASHION HEROINES’ blog is not another fashion blog… so I kind of had an empathic sympathy about this project that you can see HERE.

First they have a unique online shop where everything is absolutely free! Do you realize that these kind of dreamy things are really possible? Believe it does! Second they work with absolutely amazing brands that I love the most like FINSK – the shoes that all of us dream about. I couldn’t believe that in front of me – ok, ok, I had a the screen between – the most gorgeous shoes for this spring: The mint pumps by FINSK. Stop everything you may doing right now and look at this beauty …

At least Blogger's Wardrobe have the most amazing selection of bloggers from the recent blogosphere with a little resume about them and links for their blogs. And the selection is so good!

If you are a real Fashion Heroine is can’t ignore anymore the Blogger’s Wardrobe. And then you will wish hardly to take part of them. Try your chance. It’s very hard to get a full entry only for you and your blog but in the world hard things are always the better ones, and nothing is for free except in the shop of the Bloggers’ Wardrobe. Spring officially begins and the shops are full of news. Fashion editorials with the main spring/summer trends rush the magazines. It’s time to research my archives of spring’s favourite collections and lookbooks for inspiration. One of my fave is the silver/gold trend that ran the main collections for spring 2012. Balenciaga’s collection got this trend with beautiful gold and silver details in jackets, skirts, shorts, shoes and bags.

Começou oficialmente a Primavera e as lojas estão a abarrotar de novidades e os editoriais de moda com as principais tendências enchem as nossas revistas favoritas. Este é o tempo de pesquisar as imagens em arquivo dos principais desfiles das colecções Primavera/Verão 2012, assim como os lookbooks e blogs de street style para inspiração. Uma das minhas tendências favoritas é o uso do dourado e prateado que percorreram inumeras colecções das principais fashion houses. Balenciaga, uma das minhas colecções favoritas, brindou-nos com peças doiradas e prateadas fantásticas e detalhes metálicos em casacos, saias, calções, sapatos e malas.

Thus, in addiction to floral prints, the duo black and white, and the big place for strong hot colours as red, orange, yellow, cobalt blue, emerald green... the designers chose golden and silver tones to give a sophisticated edge to their collections. The mettalic look was also present in Fendi and Lavin. In Versace the golden studs embellished white pieces, and believe me, metallic details matched with white are a moment of fashion perfection.

O look metálico está igualmente presente nas colecções de Fendi e Lavin, entre outras. Em Versace os detalhes dourados surjem em forma de tachas a decorar looks em branco total, um momento de perfeição na moda.

How can we adapt the metallic look to a day wear setting? I think a golden/silver in total look is out of the question except at special occasions, but a smart way to follow the trend is choosing metallic accessories as shoes, belts, bags or some garments' details as we saw in Versace, for example, golden or silver studs. Another way to wear the trend is matching a single mettalic piece (skirt, top...) and keep the rest of the look in white or washed denim.

Mas, como adaptar o look metálico aos cenários da nossa vida diária? Muitas vezes o look dourado ou prateado é remetido para os momentos festivos especiais ou para a noite, mas, a moda actual puxou os brilhos metálicos para o nosso dia-a-dia. Uma forma inteligente de adoptar esta tendência é usa-la em detalhes na roupa (tachas) ou em acessórios como malas, cintos ou sapatos. outra das formas é usar só uma peça metálica como uma saia ou um top e combinar o resto do look em branco, denim ou numa das outras cores fortes da estação como o laranja ou o verde.

INSPIRATION: THE DENIM SHIRT

I think I need a new denim shirt because it's perfect for spring and to match with all kind of skirts, pants and looks from the most classic to the most relaxed ones. So I made my own researche to find the best denim skirt a friendly prices. Here is what I found:

Cheguei à conclusão que preciso urgentemente de uma nova camisa denim que é a peça perfeita para este tempo incerto de primavera. É uma das peças mais versáteis que foram inventadas pois combina bem com quase todo o tipo de saias desde as pencil clássicas às mini e às maxi para um look trendy. Assim como funcionam na perfeição com calças skinny pretas ou brancas e aqui as camisas podem ser usadas como casaco para obter o efeito cool. Pelo que fiz a minha pesquisa pela fast fashion porque a minha carteira não dá para ir ali até à Balmain ou Michael Kors da net-a-porter. Eis o que encontrei:

This one is from Mango and it costs 29,99€. I liked the long sleeves because it works in all kind of weather and the worn effect because it's soft and trendy.

Esta da primeira imagem é da Mango e custa 29,99. Gosto das mangas compridas porque pode ser usada em todas as estações e o efeito desgastado não podia ser mais trendy. Esta não sendo de corte cintado (slim fit) pode ser usada como casaco com um top/t-shirt por baixo.

This one of the pic above is from Stradivarius and it's a cheaper version which costs 19,90€ but it's slim fit, perfect to wear with mini-skirts and shorts.

Esta outra da Stradivarius é mais acessível, custa 19,90€ e é slim fit pelo que não é tão versátil, mas, que a torna perfeita para usar com saias esvoaçantes e calções.

This is from Zara and it's my favorite because it's classic and less trendy but I know I can wear them forever. It costs 29,95€. You can also find it in a washed denim too. Love choice!

Esta da Zara é uma das minhas favoritas porque é mais clássica e por isso vai usar-se durante mais tempo e vou cansar-me menos dela. Custa 29,95 e também há em ganga mais clara. Love choice!

This skirt above is from Blanco and they have it in dark denim and light denim. It's very comfortable because it is made of 60% cotton and 31% viscose for those who likes brightness and a silk touch. I rather prefer the real hard denim. So I won't buy this one. It costs 22,90€.

Esta da imagem em cima é da Blanco e custa 22,90€ e há nas versões denim escuro e claro. É bastante confortável porque é feita de 60% de algodão e 31% de viscose o que lhe dá um certo brilho e toque sedoso. Mas, ainda assim prefiro o toque do verdadeiro denim a 100% algodão. Porque não gosto tanto delas escorregadias embora reconheça que são mais fáceis de usar por dentro das calças ou saia e pode usar-se com nó subido à moda dos anos 70.

This one from H&M in the above pic is one of my fave because it is 100% cotton, figure-fit and it have a washed-denim effect that make it very comfortable and cool. The cut is American classic that's a good point because we can wear them for many seasons. It costs 19,95€.

Mas, esta da H&M que custa 19,95€ tem a grande vantagem de ser 100/ algodão e de corte cintado á figura o que a torna mais feminina. O efeito lavado torna-a muito confortável e macia para além de cool. O estilo americano clássico certamente faz dela uma peça intemporal a usar por muitas estações fora. Uma opção a considerar para as magras.
