PFW: MIU MIU FALL/WINTER 2012-13

I absolutely love Miu Miu FW 2012 -13 collection!

Miu Miu usually likes play with fashion in a way no other label does. Last collection for Spring 12 was the less playful of the latest seasons with a grow up subtle sophistication in retro silhouettes, a modern tribute to the 40's. And what about this collection for next Fall? Miuccia played it again but this time with the men's essencial wardrobe which became more female than ever, mainly the fantastic pantsuits after years of skirts and it-dresses. Pay attention to the matching-print pantsuit, it will be one of Fall's key trends.

Miu Miu habituou as suas fãs a jogar com a moda como nenhuma outra grande marca o faz. A última colecção para a Primavera/2012 foi a menos "divertida" das últimas estações com uma subtil sofisticação mais adulta numa homenagem às silhuetas dos anos 40. E quanto a esta colecção para o próximo Outono? Miuccia voltou a "brincar" mas desta vez com os essenciais do guarda-roupa masculino que tornou mais feminino do que nunca , nomeadamente os fatos com calças depois de anos de saias e vestidos como simbolos "statement" da marca. Quero chamar-vos a atenção para os fatos com estampagens a condizer que irá ser uma das tendências chave do próximo Inverno.

PFW: LOUIS VUITTON FALL/WINTER 2012-13

A train breaks the catwalk in a dramatic setting and the models down the steam locomotive, each one accompanied by a porter carrying the amazing Vuitton bags. That's something forward a fashion show, this is a movie set by Hitchcock or Ingmar Bergman,  inspired in the Louis Vuitton's roots, a label always connected with luxury travels. The garments are gorgeous, mainly the coats. The Vuitton ladies walk in the train station splashing wealth in every step. Marc Jacobs knows better than anyone how to make impact on audiences and keep going on up to the top and making the difference after a week full of fantastic shows. See by yourself what I mean...

Um comboio irrompe a passerelle numa cena dramática onde as modelos descem da locomotiva a vapor, cada uma acompanhada pelo seu bagageiro carregando as fantásticas malas Vuitton. Isto é algo para além de um desfile de moda, isto é um set de um filme de Hitchcock ou de Ingmar Bergman, inspirado nas raízes da marca que irá estar sempre relacionada com luxuosas e exóticas viagens. As roupas são verdadeiramente fantásticas, sobretudo os casacos, fazendo a Sra. Vuitton respirar riqueza a cada passo. Marc Jacobs demonstrou mais uma vez que sabe o que faz quando se trata de espantar audiências, elevando a marca Louis Vuitton ao topo dos altos desfiles de moda, fazendo a diferença após uma semana de desfiles fantásticos. Vejam por vocês mesmos aquilo que quero dizer...

THE BIGGEST CATWALK OF THE WORLD: THE STREET.

With the internet and blogs' explosion a big catwalk was born: The street itself - mainly the streets near the fashion shows. I love the street style photos because it's the best way to feel how the runway's garments worked in our daily life and how can we adapted them in our lives far away from the inspirational fashion dreams of the shows. These shoots were taken in Paris by my favorite street style blogger - Tommy Ton (Jak and Jil). For this sample we can see the trends be released in the street, and many of them can inspire and influence the fashion designers' work because they could see through them what works and what didn't. 

Com a explosão da internet e dos blogs uma nova e enorme passerelle nasceu: A própria rua, sobretudo as ruas perto dos desfiles nas semanas da moda. Adoro as fotografias de street style porque é o melhor meio de sentir como se adaptam os looks criados pelos designers à vida diária e como integrar as peças na nossa vida longe do mundo dos sonhos veiculado pelos desfiles. Estes shoots forma tirados pelo meu blogger de street style favorito - Tommy Ton ( Jak and Jil). Por esta amostra é possível verificar que hoje em dia muitas das tendências são lançadas na rua, e muitas delas inspiram e influenciam o trabalho dos designers de moda porque  através de uma simples análise da forma como as pessoas adaptam as suas criações e as fazem suas, podem testar aquilo que funciona e o que não.

Do you know these Vectory clutches by Baguera? This is the exclusive campaign preview. The Vectory collection will be launched om March 16th in Portugal at the lisbonaire. I really love this futuristic aesthetic and it works for day and night. Oh my good the coolness of it! 

Baguera is a jewelry Portuguese brand that make us to feel like jewels are so important as shoes or so... I loved all its pieces but now I'm in love with these clutches...

My fave is the first one (The mirror) because it gets your look's vibes right away. I can't wait to get my hand on this little darling.
