INSPIRATION: FASHION IS FOR FUN!
What have in common these two looks in addition of being highly inspiring?
O que têm em comum estes dois looks para além de serem altamente inspiradores?
I would like to say it was the mix of colors. I'm really obsessed by extreme colors together like purple, yellow, cobalt blue... but the guy in the 2nd pic is really amazing in the details. The green scarf is a very difficult piece and it seems that doesn't work with the rest of the look... but it did! I love guys that haven't afraid of playing with fashion!
Diria que é a mistura de cores porque estou realmente obssecada por cores fortes juntas como o roxo, amarelo, azul cobalto, verde esmeralda... mas o gajo da 2ª imagem está realmente fantástico nos detalhes. IO lenço verde parece que não iria funcionar nunca mas no look final fica hilariante e fabuloso com aquele toque de humor irónico que tanto aprecio nos homens que não têm medo de brincar com a moda.

INSPIRATION: THE NEW FASHION VISIONAIRES
O meu sonho de adolescente quando o mundo da moda me começou a fascinar e passava a vida a fazer pequenas tarefas para arranjar dinheiro para comprar revistas de moda estrangeiras, nunca foi tornar-me numa modelo ou numa criadora/designer de moda, mas, vir a ser alguém behind the scenes que nos bastidores decidisse sobre o look final quer em desfiles, editoriais , campanhas publicitárias, até ao aconselhamento sobre os visuais das pessoas no seu dia-a-dia. Eu tinha esta teoria peregrina de que todas as pessoas podiam ser bonitas e elegantes desde que com o vestido certo, de acordo com o lugar, evento, parte do dia, idade e caracteristicas corporais. Claro que em relação à idade o look certo depende muito mais das caracteristicas individuais e personalidade do que propriamente a idade real. este trabalho que eu ambicionava fazer para o resto dos meus dias não tinha sequer ainda um nome. Só muito mais tarde, cerca de 20 anos depois é que ouvi falar em Rachel Zoe e no nome Stylist.
First the stylist was someone that never appeared at day light. Stylists were a kind of anti-heroes that made the final looks work but nobody knew who they are. Now everything changed! It took about 350 hours to make a long, clingy dress of crocodile leather; The scales on the hide were individually cut and numbered, then bleached, dyed, and resewn one by one in order onto a tulle body stocking.

A London-based former art director, Slinkachu is one of a growing number of street artists to produce work on a micro scale.
Estabelecido e formado em Londres, o performer e artista Slinkachu é um dos inúmeros artistas de rua que produzem trabalho em micro-escala.
But what makes him stand out is his range of subject matter, which goes from camping and grocery shopping to death and destruction.
Mas, o que o destaca do crescente número de artistas que trabalham o mesmo tema, e o mesmo que o faz ir do campo para o talho abordando questões de morte e destruição.
The point? To express “the loneliness and melancholy of living in a big city”, whilst maintaining a sense of humour in his street instalations.
