INSPIRATION: THE RENTREE OF CINDERELA ( September is my fave month in all year)!

September is my favorite month because I love the rentrée, the nostalgia of bygone days on the beach wearing the it-trilogy Shorts+ Top + Havaianas mixed with the excitement of seeing what's new in stores. So much to think and reinvent! This is also the season when our wardrobe reaches the pinnacle of pieces that we can wear in the transition to cooler days: Summer dresses with cardigans and boots, pencil skirts with tops, sweaters with sandals; heavier coats with light pieces of lace and transparencies, etc.. A huge world of options allowed by the warm temperatures until the first rainning days in later October. This is also the month that I feel a real Cinderella because I can wear almost any type of shoes from sophisticated sandals to the funkiest sneakers, boots, brogues and ballerinas. There is no limit to the imagination! That's the right time to take some daring experiences with trends that we can adapt from the catwalks and editorials to the real life. I'm going to try wedge sandals with socks, what do you think about?

Setembro é o meu mês preferido porque adoro a rentrée, a nostalgia dos dias passados na praia vestindo a trilogia calções+ top+ chinelos misturada com o entusiasmo de ver as novidades nas lojas e estrear aquele outfit que levamos todo o verão a pensar e reinventar. Esta é a época em que o nosso guarda-roupa atinge o ponto máximo de peças que podemos usar na transição para os dias mais frescos: vestidos de verão com cardigans e botas; saias pencil com tops; sandálias com sweaters; casacos mais pesados com peças de renda e transparências, etc. Um mundo enorme de opções que as temperaturas amenas permitem e que se irão prolongar pelo Outubro adentro. Este é também o mês em que me sinto uma verdadeira Cinderela porque posso usar quase todo o tipo de sapatos desde as sandálias mais sofisticadas às sapatilhas mais descontraídas, passando por botins, brogues e sabrinas. Não há limite para a imaginação e até para ousar algumas tendências que possamos adaptar das passerelles e editorais de revistas e trazer para o nosso quotidiano, tais como as sandálias de cunha com meias que estou tentada a experimentar.

That touch of irreverence that we can take to work.
