It was yesterday that the doors of the "Alfandega do Porto" (Oporto) were opened to the 29 th edition of the Portugal Fashion, one of the most important fashion events in the country. Luis Buchinho, Anabela Baldaque Julio Torcato and my favorite fashion pair Storytailors showed their latest collections for next spring / summer 2012.
I was very disappointed because I couldn't to make the coverage of Portugal Fashion at Oporto, as I have been doing here in the capital for Modalisboa, but thanks to the kind collaboration of the artist and photographer Paulo Costa with Fashion Heroines, I'm able to bring to my friends and followers the "Vibes" of the major fashion shows and what is happening "behind the scenes", courtesy of Paulo Costa's stunning photographs. So stay connected ... from now.
The following photos were taken backstage at Storytailors, and thought them it was unravel the veil of the collection "Under My Skin," ruled by the subtle romance that took part of the brand's DNA ever since. Transparencies, lace, lingerie inspired silhouette of the 50's, an act of of pure seduction. The hallmark of Storytailors - the famous bodices - were also present in this SS 2012 collection made for dreaming as fashion itself.
Foi ontem, Quinta-feira, que as portas da Alfândega do Porto se abriram para a 29º edição do Portugal Fashion, um dos eventos de moda mais importantes do país. Luis Buchinho, Anabela Baldaque, Júlio Torcato e a minha dupla favorita Storytailors mostraram as suas últimas colecções para a próxima Primavera/Verão 2012.
Fiquei bastante decepcionada por não me ser possível fazer a cobertura do Portugal Fashion no Porto, como tenho vindo a fazer aqui na capital para a Modalisboa, mas, graças à amável colaboração do artista e fotógrafo Paulo Costa com o Fashion Heroines e a cedência das suas imagens ao blog, vais ser possível trazer aos meus amigos e seguidores as "Vibes" dos principais desfiles e o que está a acontecer "por detrás do pano" com as magnificas fotografias de Paulo Costa Fotografia. Por isso fica conectado... desde já.
As fotos que abaixo se seguem foram tiradas no backstage dos Storytailors, e desvendam o véu da colecção "Under My Skin", onde impera o romantismo súbtil inscrito no ADN da marca desde sempre. As transparências, as rendas, a inspiração lingerie demarcam uma silhueta inspirada nos anos 50 de pura sedução. A imagem de marca dos Storytailors - os famosos corpetes - também não faltaram numa colecção feita para sonhar, ou não fosse isso a moda!
